BARISTA COURSE LEVEL 1

 The course will be held at our totally equipped centre or on the customer’s own premises at his request.  The objective is for participants to receive training and knowledge about the world coffee industry, coffee itself in all its many aspects, characteristics and preparations, in order to orient their customers and recommend options which correspond as exactly as possible with their individual taste.

To deepen knowledge of the characteristics of espresso, blending, roasting, grinding, water quality, temperature and pressure, brewing, compacting, steaming milk, etc.  To be more respectful toward the product and more careful in handling it (storage, protection, doses, distribution, water quality, waiting times, etc.). 

OBJECTIVE: to achieve a higher QUALITY.

Successful participants obtain the INSTITUTO ESPAÑOL DE CAFÉ’s BARISTA LEVEL 1 certificate and have the possibility to obtain the SCAE (Speciality Coffee Association of Europe) official certification – information on request.
